I know I’m a bit late to this but better late then never. It has been more than a year
since the world has been fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic. A lot of people
have lost their loved ones to this disease. As the ray of hope was being observed,
India got hit by second wave of pandemic and it is very disheartening to write but
somewhere we failed as a country.
My past few weeks have been mentally exhausting as well as challenging because
of helplessness. Amplifying COVID SOS and arranging resources for the people
was very overwhelming experience because of the scarcity of the resources. Seeing
people cry to avail the resources for their loved ones and seeing them battle this
disease in front their eyes was a heart wrenching experience.
Social media was becoming more of like a bane to the people these days, but if we
use it correctly it can do wonders. The same was observed in the past few weeks.
People were lending a helping hand to the ones who were need. Irrespective of
their backgrounds and status. All people knew was the religion of humanity.
Twitter was considered to be one of the most toxic social media platform and we
know it pretty well. But Indian twitter is the one which never fails to surprise me
whether it’s related to memes, music, movies and what not. This time it was the
surprise which was needed the most.
Everybody goes through difficult times, but it is those who push through those difficult times who will eventually become successful in life. Don't give up, because this too shall pass.
